RECYCLED PAPER
Getting Better All the Time
Just a few years ago, recycled paper was funky and expensive and did little to project a professional image. Today it’s every bit as good as virgin paper when it comes to printing and photocopying, and prices are competitive. The midweight (24-pound) paper from Xerox, for example, has a minimum of 30 percent post consumer recycled content—which means fewer trees get chopped down. What’s particularly cool is that it comes in vivid colors such as lime green or orange.
When buying new equipment, insist on products bearing the Energy Star label. Everything that wears that merit badge uses less energy and saves money.
